Asier Garitano: "It is important for us to keep adding, we have to keep fighting because we have two very tough games left".

C.D. Leganés' coach, Asier Garitano, appeared at a telematic press conference at the end of the match played by the pepineros against C.D. Mirandés at Anduva, corresponding to the 40th LaLiga SmartBank matchday, which ended in a goalless draw.

The coach assessed the draw in Anduva as follows: "It was a very even match against a very good team. We had two very clear chances that we could not materialize, and when you can't score a goal? At least we kept a clean sheet away from home and we'll make the point good. We have to continue to compete and suffer, which is normal at the end of the season".
Asier believes that they contained the virtues of the locals well: "Mirandés play very well, with a lot of people who get inside and carry the ball from one side to the other. We could hurt them on the outside and we did it well. In the second half we created Róber's goal and we had to be careful because they have intensity and speed. It's important for us to keep on scoring.

"Tomorrow we will get up third and let's see if after the next two games we continue the same, but the most important thing is to get to that 'play-off'".

A point achieved in Miranda that brings the objective a little closer: "Let's see if we get the 'play-off', the team is maintaining a positive line and today we have been closer to get the game forward. The most important thing is to have promotion options and we are on the way, we have two games left that are going to be very hard and the better we are in the standings, the better. Tomorrow we will get up in third place and let's see if after the next two matches we continue in the same way, but the most important thing is to reach the play-offs".
Finally, the player from Bergara took stock of the last matches in which his team has gone six games without losing: "We have had everything since we arrived, we started with five consecutive victories, we got closer and now we are maintaining an important balance. We've also had a lot of absentees and people have had to make a big effort. We have to be happy with what the team is giving, in the last month and a half the data we have been handling makes us happy. We have to keep fighting, maintain the same line and see how far we can go.
