C.D. Leganés conclude their preseason this Saturday with the XLI edition of the Villa de Leganés Trophy. Asier Garitano's men will finally return at 19:00 at I.D Butarque to play Rayo Vallecano in this traditional summer fixture after a year's absence. That same morning, they will also receive A.D. Alcorcón at 10:00.
The Pepineros will be looking for their 22nd title in this 41st edition of their tournament, a title which would extend their winning streak to 5 after winning the last 4 years. For their part, Rayo Vallecano will be fighting for their fourth Villa de Leganés after winning the first two editions, in 1980 and 1981, and most recently in 2015.
It will be the last test for the Blanquiazules before the start of the league, which will take place on Saturday 14 (17:00) against Real Sociedad 'B' at the Reale Arena.
