C.D. Leganés Fútbol Sala ends the 2020/21 season with the satisfaction of having fulfilled its duty. The men's team achieved permanence in the year of its debut in the Second Division, while the women's team did the same in the First Division, achieving some of the best records in its history.

C.D. Leganés Fútbol Sala faced a demanding year in which, for the first time since it was integrated under the colors of C.D. Leganés, its men's section competed in the Second Division of the National Futsal League (LNFS). After achieving promotion in the 2019/20 course, the pepineros finished sixth in Group 2 of the first phase, going on to fight for salvation in the second phase and achieving it in a very meritorious way on the last day.
David Zamorano's team relied on the strength of the group, who could count on the encouragement of their fans in their home games, and on the individuality of players like Palomares, fifth top scorer in the category with 22 goals in 24 games, or Dela, with twelve. The coach will take over next season from Diego Gacimartín.

C.D. Leganés Fútbol Sala Femenino achieved a comfortable permanence with great records.

For its part, the women's team faced its fifth season in the First Division, finishing fifth in the first phase and disputing a permanence phase in which they finished in second place, for a tenth position in the overall course. Iván Labrado's team achieved the highest number of points and goals in a season in the top flight.
In addition, the pepineras reached the round of 16 of the Cup, and had the reward of having, for the first time, a player called up by the Spanish national team: Lucía Gutiérrez, 'Guti', was called up by the national U-21 team, thus rewarding her extraordinary season and the work of the entire club's youth academy.
C.D. Leganés Fútbol Sala will return with more strength next season with the aim of continuing to grow and placing the name of Leganés in the national futsal scene.
