Finally, C.D. Leganés Genuine have brought their LaLiga Genuine 2019/20 campaign to an end after over a year of delay due to the pandemic.
The Blanquiazules first headed for Tarragona to attent the inauguration ceremony at the Nou Estadi on Friday 12th November. The squad then battled through the weekend, playing Girona F.C. (0-2) and R.C.D. Mallorca (2-1) on the Saturday before victoriously sealing their last match on Sunday over Fundación Málaga C.F. E.D.I. (4-0).
Despite the results, the highlight for the team was their privilege to represent their values on the pitch, displaying companionship, respect and sportsmanship. The squad will continue to train ahead of the commencement of the 2021/22 LaLiga Genuine season, with the dates and scheduling due to be confirmed soon.
