C.D. Leganés reinforces the defense with Roberto Rosales

C.D. Leganés and Málaga C.F. have reached an agreement for the transfer of the 30-year-old Venezuelan international player, Roberto Jose Rosales Altuve. The Venezuelan signs for the following two seasons, with an option to a third one, and will join the team's preseason on Thursday.

Roberto Rosales began his football career Caracas Fútbol Club's academy and made the jump to Europe in May 2007, after he signed for KAA Gent, in the Belgian First Division. Three seasons later, in 2010, Rosales joined Twente, in the Dutch League, where he played the group stage of the Champions League during his first season.

After four seasons playing in the Dutch League, Malaga F.C. brought him to Spain for the 2014/15 season. With the Andalusian team, Roberto played until the 2017/18 season. Last season he was loaned to Espanyol due to the relegation of the Malagueños to 2nd division. For the Catalonian side, the Caraquenian played a total of 26 matches, scoring a total of three goals.

The footballer who has been international with Venezuela on 80 occasions, participating in four editions of the Copa America, will start training Thursday and will be presented soon.
