C.D Leganés will receive C.D Mirandés at Butarque for the third time in history. Both teams have already played twice in the pepineros’ last stage at the silver category. One win and a draw is the balance.
Leganés and Mirandés played for the first time at Butarque on April 26th, 2015 for the 35th matchday of the 2014/15 season. That day both teams tied 0-0. They played again in the next season on January 17, 2016 and the pepineros managed to win by 4-0.
Asier Garitano’s team scored two early goals that day and by the 20th minute they were winning after Rubén Peña’s two goals and another one by Szymanowski. Gabriel also scored in the second half. C.D Leganés closed the first leg of the season being at playoff spots and was about to visit Anduva for the last matchday of the season.
