C.D Leganés and Girondins de Bordeaux have closed the loan of the 27-year old midfielder Rubén Pardo Gutiérrez. The midfielder has had a relevant career in first division and European competitions.
He was parto f Real Sociedad’s academy since he was 12 years old. He made his debut with the first team when he was eighteen in October, 2011 in a match against Real Madrid He started an eight-year career that day with Real Sociedad where he managed to play 194 official matches, scored seven goals and gave 34 assists.
European competitions and Ligue 1 experience
He helped his team during those seasons to qualify to Champions League in 2013/12. He also got to play in Europa League on the following year and in the 2017/18 season. In between, he had a hal-year experience on loan at Real Betis in 2017.
He ended his stage at San Sebastián in 2020 and was signed by Girondins de Bordeaux and made his debut in Ligue 1 in February. He played six matches until the competition was cancelled and scored one goal against Paris Saint Germain at Parque des Princess. He has had minutes with Girondins in the two matches played by the team.
Youth teams international and European champion with Spanish U-19 team
He is an organized and exquisite midfielder. He played with Spanish national teams on all its categories, participated in the 2009 U-17 Eurocup and was European champion with the U-19 team in 2011 providing two assists in the final match. He also played seven matches with the U-21 team.
