CD Leganés and Rubén Pérez reach an agreement whereby the latter will be a cucumber player for the next four seasons. The Andalusian midfielder would continue to remain of CD Leganés after two years of loan and to terminate his contract with Granada CF.
Footballer born in Écija, he grew up in the academy of Atlético de Madrid. Considered as one of the most promising players for Atlético, he was loaned next year to Deportivo. His good performances took him to Spain’s U21s where he played 5 games and became Champion of Europe in Denmark.
After Deportivo’s relegation, Rubén Perez was loaned in sucesive seasons to Getafe, Betis and Elche, always in First Division and being a standout most of the times. In 2014, he left again on loan to Torino in Italy, although the lack of game time brought him back to Spain in January. This time his destiny was Granada.
In 2016 he arrived at Butarque on loan from Granada being undisputable on the midfield during two seasons.
