C.D. Leganés signs new goalie, Juan Soriano

The goalkeeper from Seville, who was already a Pepinero in the 2019/20 season, signs for 3 seasons from C.D. Tenerife.

C.D. Leganés has reached an agreement with goalkeeper Juan Soriano Oropesa, 26 years old, to join the club for the next three seasons. The Sevillian goalkeeper, who already defended the Blue and Whites' shirt in the 2019/20 season, returns to Butarque from C.D. Tenerife.

Juan Soriano returns to a Leganés with which he already played in the First Division. In that campaign, the player from Benacazón played a total of fourteen official matches in his first professional experience away from Sevilla F.C., a club in whose youth academy he was formed from the infant category and until debuting with the first team in the 2018/19 season, in which he also debuted in European competitions in the UEFA Europa League.

Three consecutive seasons as one of the best goalkeepers in LALIGA HYPERMOTION.

After being loaned to Leganés and Málaga in the following two seasons, Juan Soriano, U-21 international with the Spanish national team, signed for Tenerife, a club with which he has competed for the last three seasons in LALIGA HYPERMOTION, becoming one of the most outstanding goalkeepers in the category. With Los Chicharreros he played a total of 127 games, with an average of less than one goal conceded per game and leaving a clean sheet on nearly 40% of occasions.

A sober goalkeeper, with great reflexes and command of the aerial game, Juan Soriano returns to Butarque with much more experience behind him to help Leganés in their objectives for the new season in LALIGA EA SPORTS. His presentation will take place in the coming weeks.

Welcome back, Juan!
