C.D. Leganés already know their opponent in the quarter-finals of the Copa de S.M. El Rey. The Pepineros will face Real Madrid C.F. at the Estadio Municipal Butarque, in a single-leg tie to be played on 4, 5 or 6 February, with dates and times to be confirmed.
Leganés will play in the quarter finals of the tournament for the second time in its 96 year history, after beating Ciudad de Lucena, Estepona, Cartagena and Almería in the previous knockout rounds. Against Real Madrid, whom they eliminated on the previous occasion, they will be looking to reach their second semi-final, after the one they played in 2018 against Sevilla F.C.
For their part, Real Madrid come into the antepenultimate round having beaten Deportiva Minera and R.C. Celta in the previous matches. Information regarding the date, time and tickets for the match will be announced shortly.
