This morning C.D. Leganés presented midfielder, Fede Vico, as their newest addition to the blanquiazul 2021/22 campaign. Accompanied by Txema Indias, Vico explained he had chosen the club "from the very first moment" for its "willpower" and because it "has grown in many respects", something he believes is "fundamental".
The Cordoban hopes to contribute his "hard work and ambition" to the club, describing himself as a "versatile player", capable of "shifting to the right or the left" depending on the manager's wishes, though he admits he feels most "comfortable" working in the central midfield. Vico can adapt to "whichever style of play" and has already been in conversation with Garitano on his approach for the squad
"Clear ideas" to acheive
Regarding Monday's fixture, the new midfielder arrives in a condition to play "20 or 30 minutes" after a couple of months of training in the gym, but "not at game pace". Even so, he hopes to add both "humility and ambition" with "clear ideas" about acheiving the club's objectives. Vico admitted he is "very excited to be wearing the shirt in front of the fans", but is careful to have "both feet on the ground".
