C.D Leganés’ international players return to the club after being with their national teams in the November international matchday. Gaku Shibasaki and Roberto Rosales won one match and lost another one with Japan and Venezuela, respectively.
Gaku Shibasaki was part of the starting line-up in the two matches that Japan played at Graz, Austria. The midfielder played 82 minutes in the first match against Panamá that ended up with a win for the “Blue Samurais” (1-0). The Japanese team was defeated in the second match against México (0-2) in which Gaku played a total of 56 minutes, he left the pitch when the score was even.
On the other hand, Roberto Rosales was part of the starting line-up for Venezuela in the first of the two qualifying matches for the 2022 Qatar World Cup. The defender played a total of 65 minutes in Brazil and was forced to leave the pitch after having some physical issues. His team fell against the locals (1-0). He was not able to play the second match against Chile that ended up with a 2-1 win for the “Vinotinto”.
