Jorge Broto will continue at the head of C.D. Leganés' Base Football Management.

C.D. Leganés Base Football will continue to be led by its director Jorge Broto for the next two seasons. The club wants to give, in this way, continuity to the project of the pepinera quarry that is giving such good results in recent times.

After working as a coach in the youth academy since 2008, Jorge Broto took over the direction of grassroots soccer in 2017, providing the pepinera youth academy with an organization and infrastructure that would allow the daily work to be reflected also in medium and long-term projects. Thus, this season the reserve team achieved a historic promotion to Second Division 'B' after being the only team in Spain to finish the regular season undefeated.
In addition, most of the youth teams compete in the highest categories for their age groups, and some of them, as in the case of the Alevín 'A' team this past weekend, have achieved successes such as the league title.

Promotion of the reserve team, teams in the highest categories and the presence of several youth players with the first team.

This work has also been reflected at the national level, with the club competing in tournaments such as LaLiga Promises alongside the best youth teams in Spain and reaching the final rounds. And, this season, several youth players have been called up by the first team on various occasions, with Javi Rubio, Cassio Junior and Diego García making their debuts in official competition.

Along with Jorge Broto, David Méndez, Youth Development Coordinator, Francisco de Paula López Martínez, Director of Recruitment, and Manuel Barba, Youth Soccer 7-a-side Coordinator, will continue their links with the club.
