C.D Leganés 'B' started preseason training sessions this Thursday before the start of 2020/21 season. The pepineros’ second team will be managed by Carlos Martínez and will count with David Valleros as assistant coach. The competition will start in October.
Leganés 'B' will be competing on third division’s Group 7 south after being close to reach the promotion playoff last season and being among the first four positions during the most part of the season. The team has started the preseason following Madrid Football Federation and Madrid Community protocols.
Another former C.D Leganés’ football player will be part of the coaching staff in addition to Carlos Martínez’s presence as head coach: David Valleros will be assistant coach. The rest of the coaching staff is formed by Alberto González (goalkeepers’ coach), Héctor Fajardo and Pablo Ventura (delegates), David Briones and Víctor Ciller (physiotherapists), Ana de la Fuente (sports therapist) and Juan Camacho (analyst).
