Roberto Rosales joins his national team to play the Copa America 2021

C.D. Leganés full-back Roberto Rosales said goodbye to his teammates on Thursday to join the Venezuela national team's training camp and begin preparations for the Copa América 2021, which will kick off on June 13 in Argentina.

Thus, Rosales will not be available for the last day of LaLiga SmartBank, in which Leganés visits Real Zaragoza (Sunday, 21:00) in search of third place, nor in the play-off for promotion to LaLiga Santander, for which the Pepinero club has already qualified.

At 32 years of age, Rosales, who this season has participated in twenty matches with the Blue and Whites, in which he scored a goal, will return to compete with Venezuela, which is in Group B and will face Brazil (June 14), Colombia (June 18), Ecuador (June 21) and Peru (June 28) in search of a place in the quarterfinals.
