The C.D. Leganés and the City Council promote the campaign #CompraEnLeganés in support of small businesses and the hotel industry in the city

Buying at Leganés is rewarding. The C.D. Leganés and the City Council, through its Department of Local Development and Employment, launched the campaign #CompraEnLeganés with the aim of promoting the purchase in small stores and hotels in the municipality, which are two of the sectors that are most severely affected by the economic impact of the covid-19.

Thus, from December 21 until January 5, each purchase over 10 euros in the stores participating in this campaign participates in the draw for 50 prizes of 100 euros in bonds to consume in stores and hotels in the city.
The campaign has the participation of the captain of the first Pepinero team, Unai Bustinza, who is the protagonist of the promotional spot in which he can be seen setting an example, buying in local stores and encouraging pepineros to do the same.

Victoria Pavón: "The commerce and the hotel business of Leganés are the ones that fill our streets with life".

The President of the C.D. Leganés Victoria Pavón valued very positively the agreement with the desire to add efforts to face the consequences of the covid-19 in the city: "The commerce and the hotel business of Leganés are the ones who bring our streets to life, and all the initiatives that serve to promote it and to promote it for its position are positive".
"It is a question of not forgetting the small trade. There are not only large stores and that such initiatives serve for that. In addition, the awards of this campaign will impact on these small businesses," he added, while stressing its importance because "Leganés, without its small stores is a ghost town.
"I am grateful to the C.D. Leganés for its commitment and for supporting in such difficult times a very important part of our town which are the small businesses", said Fran Muñoz, councillor for Local Development and Employment of the Town Hall of Leganés.
For its part, UNELE, as an association of employers in the municipality, through its president Augusto Fuentes, also wanted to highlight the importance of this type of agreement: "I value it very positively. This is not something that surprises us. We have been collaborating with the C.D. Leganés for many years". Both UNELE, AMEL and ACHLOS, as well as business associations in the city, have collaborated in this campaign.
