The C.D. Leganés first team have started training on the pitch at the Butarque Sports Facility. The squad has resumed activity after the holiday period with two initial days of medical examinations and stress tests, and this morning they trained in a group for the first time under the orders of Borja Jiménez and the rest of his coaching staff.
The players warmed up and did physical exercises with the ball. This is the start of the preparation for the new season, which will culminate with the league kick-off on 17 August in Pamplona against Osasuna at 19:00h, when the Pepeños return to LALIGA EA SPORTS four years later.
So far, four friendly matches have been confirmed by Leganés. They will face Nice on Friday 19 July at 10:30h, they will play against Sheffield Wednesday Football Club on Saturday 3 August at 13:00h local time (14:00h peninsular time) at Hillsborough Stadium and they will play two matches in the Teresa Herrera Trophy on Friday 9 and Saturday 10 August.
