C.D. Leganes signs Juan Cruz for the next four seasons

The Spanish-Argentine winger signs until June 30, 2028 from Real Betis.

C.D. Leganés incorporates the Spanish-Argentine winger Juan Cruz Díaz Espósito, 24 years old, as his own player after the automatic promotion buyout provided for in the loan contract signed with Real Betis last January.

In this way, Juan Cruz becomes part of the pepinera entity for the next four seasons, until June 30, 2028. Leganés has secured the presence of a key player in its promotion to the top flight after his arrival in the last winter market. Despite playing only four months with the Blue and Whites, the player from Quilmes scored four goals and provided two assists, being decisive in the second half of the season and in key matches against Racing de Ferrol and Elche.

Cruz arrived in Spain to join the youth academy of Málaga C.F., making his debut at the age of seventeen in the First Division. In 2021 he joined Real Betis, enjoying a presence in the first team in the following season. Last season he played eight games for the Heliópolis side before arriving on the last day of the winter transfer window at Butarque.

Now, Juan Cruz will play again in LALIGA EA SPORTS, this time for Leganés in his return, four years later, to the elite of our soccer. Welcome back, Juan!
