C.D. Leganés visited the Severo Ochoa Hospital in our city to be close to the patients admitted to the center, who have to spend these special days away from their homes. The soccer players and the coaching staff went to the hospital to give gifts and encouragement to the patients.
As has been the tradition in recent years, the team handed out gifts from the club and visited several of the rooms where some of the residents of Leganés are being treated to chat with them and convey the encouragement of the whole club when they have to spend these days away from their homes and loved ones. SuperPepino was also present to bring a smile to all of them.
Jorge Miramón, Diego García, Francisco Portillo and Julián Chicco were some of the players who visited the patients. One of the captains, Jorge Miramón, said that "the fans are always there with us and we try to return some of the affection they give us. All these things that help us to be close to them are welcome. This union between club and fans is key. I hope we can all continue together in this type of events".
