Back to the winning track

C.D. Leganés visits the Nuevo Pepico Amat with the intention of returning to winning ways (Sunday, 18:30).

C.D. Leganés visits C.D. Eldense this Sunday (18:30) at the Estadio Nuevo Pepico Amat, in a match corresponding to the thirty-eighth round of LALIGA HYPERMOTION. The pepineros will seek to return to the path of victory to continue depending on themselves in the final stretch of the championship.

This is the first of two consecutive visits that the Blue and Whites will face before the last three league matches. On this occasion, the first of these trips comes against an Eldense that wants to escape from the lower zone. However, the pepinera motivation is maximum to continue adding, and this time three points that bring them closer to their dream.

For this match, the coach of the Puebla team, Borja Jiménez, will have the forced absence of Yvan Neyou, suspended for accumulation of yellow cards. The coach announced some more absences for physical reasons, although he did not want to reveal the identity of the player or players. More than three hundred pepineros fans will gather in Elda to encourage their team in search of victory.

Eldense, to get back to winning ways to escape from the bottom of the table

In front of them will be an Eldense that wants to end a bad streak of eight consecutive days without a win (two draws and six defeats) that have led them to be only two points above relegation at the beginning of this date after having been in the middle of the table for most of the championship.

Coach Fernando Estévez, ratified this week at the head of the Alicante team, will have to clear some doubts in the hours prior to the start of the match, such as those of Toni Abad, Miguelón or Iván Chapela, with various physical problems in the last few days. Former pepineros David Timor and Álex Bernal will face the Blue and Whites again after having already played in the first leg clash at Butarque (1-1).

The match will be refereed by the Castilian-Leonese referee, Mr. Óliver de la Fuente Ramos.
