C.D. Leganés will play a new friendly preparation match next Saturday, August 3 at 14:00 (13:00 local time) against Sheffield Wednesday F.C. at Hillsborough Stadium. Los Pepineros will travel to British soil for the first time in their history to face a historic club.
Sheffield Wednesday, founded in 1867, currently plays in the British Championship, but has four league titles and three English Cups to its name, among other notable titles, as well as having participated on several occasions in European competitions.
This is the fourth preseason match confirmed by Leganés, who will also face Nice on Friday, July 19 and will play two matches in the Teresa Herrera Trophy on Friday, August 9 and Saturday, August 10.
