C.D. Leganés extends Javi Hernández's contract until 2027

The defender from Jerez, whose contract expires in 2026, renews his contract for another season.

C.D. Leganés and defender Javi Hernández reached an agreement on Tuesday to extend their contract for another season. The Jerez-born player, whose contract with the club was due to expire in 2026, has extended his relationship with Leganés for a further season, until 30 June 2027.

Javi Hernández arrived at Butarque in 2020, playing two full seasons as a Blue and Whites' player before being loaned out to Girona F.C. in 2022 and Cádiz C.F. in 2023. Last summer he returned to the pepinera discipline, having played the five games of the current LALIGA EA SPORTS under the orders of Borja Jiménez, reaching the figure of 82 official matches with the laurel shield.

The link between the club and Javi Hernández is now extended until the end of the 2026/27 season.
