C.D. Leganés incorporates Martín Mantovani as the club's new head of institutional relations. The former captain of the pepinero starts a new professional stage at Leganés, now in the offices after five seasons as a Blue and Whites' player.

Mantovani, who played for Leganés between 2013 and 2018, is the foreign player with the most official games in the club's history (167), winning two promotions as a Pepinero, to the Second Division in 2014 and to the First Division in 2016. In addition, the Argentinian can boast of being one of only two Blue and Whites' players to have scored in the three main categories, matched only by Javier Eraso.

After continuing his career for four more seasons in professional football, Mantovani officially said goodbye to football on 28 June at Butarque surrounded by former teammates and the Blue and Whites' fans. Now, as of 15 August, he will take over as head of institutional relations, and will be in charge of representing the club at different events, being one of the club's spokespersons and becoming the link with the club's veterans' team.
