C.D. Leganés have taken the decision not to continue with Txema Indias as sporting director next season. After several conversations between the club and the sporting director, whose contract is due to expire on 30 June, they have finally parted ways.
Yesterday, Thursday, the club's management met with Txema Indias to inform him of a decision that was taken this week. The club, out of respect and affection for Txema, as well as confidence in his professionalism, decided to inform him of the decision as soon as it was taken in order to give him as much time as possible to plan his future.
Club Deportivo Leganés would like to thank Txema Indias for his great work during the ten years he has been in the sporting management, his involvement and professionalism and wishes him all the luck in the world in his next projects. Txema has left a great mark on both the club and the city, being a fundamental part of the two historic promotions to the first division and will always be fondly remembered by all.
For its part, the club is already working on the incorporation of a new sporting director, with the idea that he can start before the end of this season and thus take charge of organising and planning the 2025/26 season as far in advance as possible.
