The Butarque Sports Facility, among the sub-sites of the World Cup 2030

The Pineda sports city is listed as one of the sub-hosts of the event, which will be held in Spain, Portugal and Morocco.

The Butarque Sports Facility has been chosen by the Royal Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) and the Executive Committee as a sub-host for the World Cup to be organised by Spain in 2030 along with Morocco and Portugal.

The Royal Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) has today made public the stadiums that will be included as candidates to host matches in Spain for the 2030 FIFA World Cup, as well as the sub-hosts, following the work carried out over the last two years by the Executive Committee for our country of the joint bid with Morocco and Portugal, in which the Government is integrated through the CSD.

The final decision on the use of the sub-hosts, including the Butarque Sports Facility, must now go through a direct evaluation process by FIFA, and will correspond to the teams participating in the 2030 World Cup.
