Miguel de la Fuente, Five Star Player of October

Miguel de la Fuente has been recognised by the fans of C.D. Leganés as the Five Star Player of October. The striker has won the Mahou award which recognises him as the best player of the team in the last month thanks to his great performance. This award is organised by Mahou, the club's official beer.

With this initiative, Mahou Cinco Estrellas demonstrates its loyal support to C.D. Leganés and its fans, generating connections between people who are essential to live better and offering the experience to the fans of being part of this award. Miguel scored four goals in the five matches played in the month, being decisive in the victories against Amorebieta and Espanyol.

Dynamics of the Five Star Player election

Fans vote via Twitter, on the @futbolmahou profile, with the collaboration of the official C.D. Leganés account (@cdleganes), for their chosen player from among the five proposed by the club on a monthly basis with the hashtag #JugadorCincoEstrellas. To vote, they have to retweet or favourite the name of the player they want to be awarded the prize, within the time limit set for collecting votes. Once the votes are counted, the winner is determined.
