Borja Jiménez: ‘We're going with confidence and the illusion of getting something positive’

C.D. Leganés' coach spoke ahead of Saturday's match against R.C. Celta.

C.D. Leganés' coach, Borja Jiménez, gave a press conference on Friday ahead of the match against R.C. Celta at the Estadio Abanca Balaídos on Saturday (2pm), corresponding to the 27th matchday of the EA SPORTS LALIGA EA SPORTS.

The coach spoke at a press conference about the team's moral this week, ‘We are feeling much better. Winning in the 92nd minute and in the way we did has given us a huge boost. Football is all about moods, and this week we started with a different energy,’ he said.  

On his opponents, he highlighted their strength at home: ‘We know they are a team that likes to have the ball. They are one of the strongest at home and we will have to play a very complete game. There are still 12 games left and we need to get points, we're confident and hopeful of getting something positive.  

Borja also complimented Diego, highlighting his humility and hard work: ‘He's a boy who has got this far thanks to his perseverance and effort. He doesn't forget where he comes from, in fact he is very aware of it, and that makes him continue to grow’.  

Finally, he confirmed that the only casualty for the game will be Munir due to suspension and assured that the team is prepared: ‘We have our weapons and we're going with a great desire to compete and get a good result’.
