After having to retire injured in Sunday's match between Valencia C.F. and C.D. Leganés at the Estadio de Mestalla, and after undergoing tests on Monday, Borna Barišić has been diagnosed with a ruptured anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee.
Barišić played his first minutes as a Leganés player in Valencia, after joining the pepinera discipline last Monday, on the last day of the winter market, on loan from Turkish Trabzonspor.
The club wishes him a quick recovery and the best of encouragement to the player.
