C.D. Leganés incorporates the 27-year-old left back Enric Franquesa Dolz as his own player after the automatic promotion buyout provided for in the loan contract signed with Levante U.D. last summer.
In this way, Franquesa becomes part of the team for the next two seasons, until June 30, 2026. Leganés thus secures the services of a key player at the club since his arrival a year and a half ago, in the winter market of the 2022/23 campaign. After landing on loan for the second half of that season, the club got a new loan for the recently completed course, in which he played all the games in which he was available, scoring two goals and distributing five assists.
Trained in the youth ranks of FC Barcelona, Franquesa played for Sabadell, Gavà and Villarreal 'B' before making his debut in the Second Division with Mirandés. After a season with Girona, Levante signed him to play in the First Division in the 2021/22 season. As a Granota he stayed a year and a half, before joining Butarque in January 2023.
His speed, pace and runs down the left flank have won the hearts of the Pabellon fans, who will be able to continue to enjoy Franquesa for the next two seasons. Welcome back, Enric!
