C.D. Leganés can't win against Real Madrid (0-3)

Mbappé, Valverde and Bellingham scored for Los Blancos.

C.D. Leganés were unable to win their LALIGA EA SPORTS matchday fourteen game against Real Madrid (0-3). Mbappé gave Real Madrid the lead just before half-time, while Valverde and Bellingham completed the scoring in the second half.

Mbappé, just before the break, gave Real Madrid the lead.

Leganés came out with two changes to their line-up from the last game against Sevilla: Javi Hernández and Neyou replaced Franquesa, who was out injured, and Cissé, who started on the bench this time. The visitors came out looking to take an early lead, with Mbappé's 10th-minute effort disallowed for offside. The Pepineros were tidy and tried to get forward on the counter with the speed of Miguel de la Fuente.

In the 18th minute, Lega's first dangerous chance came with a cross from the right by Tapia that Munir was about to finish off. In the 21st minute, Munir himself hit the crossbar, although the action was disallowed for offside by the Spanish-Moroccan. Los Blancos responded with an individual effort from Güler that Dmitrovic kept out with a good save. In an evenly matched first half, Real Madrid took the lead in the 43rd minute thanks to a goal from Mbappé, who finished off an assist from Vinicius to make it 0-1 at the break.

Valverde scored the second and Bellingham sealed the win in the closing stages.

With no changes after the break, Juan Cruz had the first dangerous approach in the 53rd minute with a left-footed shot that went wide. In the 58th minute, Borja Jiménez made his first two changes, bringing on Chicco for Neyou in midfield and Raba for Munir in the three-quarter area. The Blue and Whites tried their luck with the fresh air from the changes, with a good finish from Juan Cruz from the left that failed to find a finisher.

However, in the 65th minute, Madrid doubled their lead in the 65th minute with a Valverde shot that Dmitrovic could do nothing about to make it 0-2. Lega tried to react with two more changes, with Rosier and Haller coming on in place of Alti and Brasanac. Borja Jiménez's last change was Diego García in place of Miguel, just after Bellingham had made it 0-3 after picking up a rebound from a loose ball in the box.

There was no time for more, and Lega are left with 14 points in the table thinking about their next game, which comes on Saturday (16:15) at Mendizorroza against Deportivo Alavés.
