Four C.D. Leganés players have been called up by their national teams for international matches in September. Neyou, Cissé, Tapia and Porozo will play two matches with Cameroon, Guinea, Peru and Ecuador, respectively.
As the qualifiers for the next Africa Cup of Nations get underway, both Yvan Neyou and Seydouba Cissé will start with Cameroon and Guinea on their way to the continental tournament. Cameroon host Namibia in Douala on Saturday 7 September (18:00), while they travel to Uganda to face Zimbabwe on Tuesday 10 September (18:00). Guinea, meanwhile, will visit the Democratic Republic of Congo on Friday 6 September (18:00) before hosting Tanzania on Tuesday 10 September (18:00).
Tapia and Porozo, with Peru and Ecuador in 2026 World Cup qualifiers
Meanwhile, Renato Tapia and Jackson Porozo will continue to play for Peru and Ecuador in the 2026 World Cup qualifiers. The Peruvians host Colombia in Lima in the early hours of Friday 6 to Saturday 7 (3:30 am), while the Ecuadorians visit Brazil on the same day at 3:00 am Spanish peninsular time. Tapia and Porozo will face each other in the second match of this window, in the Ecuador-Peru game on Tuesday 10 (23:00).
The four players will return to Leganés after these matches and will be available for the match against Real Betis Balompié on Friday 13 (21:00) in Seville, corresponding to the fifth matchday of LALIGA EA SPORTS.
