Diego Lorenzo, Rosell, Piri and Friaza scored the first victory of the season.

First league matchday for Leganés B and first victory after beating México F.C. 4-0 in the match played at I.D. Butarque.

The pepinero reserve team had an unbeatable start to the new 2024-2025 season in Group 7 of the RFEF Third Division. The team coached by José Capdevila came out from the opening whistle with the clear objective of getting their first win of the season. After the first ten minutes, the reserve team had three clear chances to take the lead, with Hugo García, Solozábal and Fernando the protagonists, but the post and the goalkeeper prevented the first goal of the morning. The Pepineros continued to stalk their opponents' area and in the 18th minute Diego Lorenzo managed to open the scoring. In the 35th minute, Rosell took advantage of a loose ball in the area to put the second goal on the scoreboard at the end of the first half.

Piri and Joselu Friaza put the game to bed in the second half.

Just after the restart of the game, Piri converted from the eleven meters a penalty that was committed on Diego Lorenzo. Leganes B were comfortable on the pitch and dominated the game. Joselu Friaza, who came on from the bench in the 63rd minute, scored the fourth and final goal in the 76th minute to bring the first three points to I.D. Butarque.

The next league game will be away on Sunday 15 September at 18:15 against Aravaca C.F.
